Emma, Cloé, Christine and Paula flew out to Munich to attend the Chronobiology School organised by EBRS and the Institute of Medical Psychology at LMU. They attended lectures talking about the newest advances in the field, presented their work in 1 minute "datablitz" and poster sessions, and took part in lots of group workshops on experimental design. It was an action-packed week but there was still time to enjoy everything Munich has to offer.
June: Lab outing
On a gusty but sunny day in June, the Clock lab headed out to Bray for a hike and some food and drinks later.

I felt super honoured ( but also a little nervous) when I had the opportunity to work with the incredible and super talented Dr. Jolanta Burke from RCSI Centre of Positive Psychology and Health. We co-wrote this article on Seasonal Depression for the conversation with tips on how to ward off the winter blues.

Shannon, Lauren, James and Annie headed to Newcastle in May for the British Society for Immunology meeting, titled “Fuelling the immune response”. Great meeting, and so good to be back in person after Covid. The guys presented their posters and their was also time for a cocktail or two :)
